ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondent to consider the merit of the petitioner in the recruitment of PG Assistant (Economics) for the year 2011-2012 and appoint him to the post of PG Assistant (Economics) under BC Tamil Medium quota and other consequential reliefs.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent would submit that subsequent to the filing of the Writ Petition, the respondent has passed an order rejecting the claim of the petitioner.

3. At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks liberty to the petitioner to challenge the said order.

4. Recording the said submission made by the learned counsel for the respondent, this Writ Petition is closed, however, with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the said order. No costs.
