Respondent This Writ Petition has been filed praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to make correction in the Death Certificate of K.Saradha dated 07.10.2009 issued by the respondent to insert the name of the petitioner in the place of name of the husband and delete the name of the father namely Kadarkarai and issue death certificate and consequently consider the representation dated 02.05.2014. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to make correction in the Death Certificate of K.Saradha dated 07.10.2009 issued by the respondent to insert the name of the petitioner in the place of name of the husband and delete the name of the father, namely, Kadarkarai and issue a death certificate afresh by considering the representation dated 02.05.2014.

2. Mr.Aayiram K.Selvakumar, learned Standing Counsel for the Corporation takes notice for the respondents.

3. By consent, this Writ Petition itself is taken up final disposal.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of on merits and in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

5. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent has no objection in considering the request of the petitioner.

6. In view of the above, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, the respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 02.05.2014, on merits and in accordance with law, after https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

giving notice to the interested parties, if any, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
