ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to enhance the subsistence allowance as admissible to the petitioner with effect from 19.09.2013 under Rule 53(1)(a)(i) of Fundamental Rules. 2.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would produce the proceedings of the Director of Social Welfare, Chennai, in Proc.No.6165/Admn.5-1/2013 dated 21.02.2017, whereby, the subsistence allowance to the petitioner has been enhanced from 50% to 75% with effect from 17.09.2013 as admissible under F.R.53(1)(a)(i). He therefore submits that the prayer sought for has been granted by the 1st respondent through the abovesaid proceeding.

Hence, placing on record the proceedings dated 21.02.2017, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
