ORDER

This petition is filed to relax the condition imposed on the petitioner, by this Court in Crl.M.P.(MD)No.1643 of 2025 in Crl.A.(MD)No.150 of 2025, by order dated 20.03.2025.

2. This Court, while suspending the sentence on 20.03.2025 in Crl.M.P.(MD) No.1643 of 2025, directed the petitioner to stay at Madurai and report before the Inspector of Police, Othakkadai Police Station, Madurai, daily at 10.30 a.m. till the disposal of the appeal.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is regularly complying with the said condition. He further submits that the petitioner is suffering with cancer and he cannot move without any assistance. Therefore, he insists for modification of the said condition.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent Police submits that the petitioner is regularly complying with the condition from 28.03.2025.

5. Considering the fact that the petitioner is suffering with cancer and he cannot move without any assistance and he is regularly complying with the condition from 28.03.2025, this Court is inclined to modify the condition imposed in 2/4

Crl.M.P.(MD)No.1643 of 2025.

6. Accordingly, this petition is allowed and the condition is modified to the effect that the petitioner shall appear before the trial Court once in a month, i.e. on the first working day of every English Calender month at 10.30 a.m., till the disposal of the appeal.
