ORDER

This writ petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to release the petitioner's vehicle bearing Registration No.TN-45-AM-3535 (Ashok Leyland Limited), by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 06.04.2023. 2.Heard Mr.C.Prithviraj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.J.John Rajadurai, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, it is informed by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents that there are seven criminal cases pending against the petitioner. Further, the driver who was on the wheels has neither surrendered nor has his driving license been produced. Therefore, there is an impediment to release the vehicle at this juncture.

4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 2/4_________

would submit that if the driver surrender and submit his driving license, the respondents shall, after scrutinizing the same, release the vehicle. 5.Recording the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
