Respondent Writ Petitions is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.04.2015 to effect property tax transfer relating to the property bearing Door No.31&31A at Ward No.13 at Old Post Office Lane, Thuraiyur, Trichy District. ORDER

The petitioner has prayed for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to effect property tax transfer in respect of the properties in question.

2. Mr.N.S.Karthikeyan accepts notice for the respondent.

3. When the matter is taken-up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice, if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, to which, the learned Additional Government Pleader has no objection in considering the request of the petitioner.

4. In view of the above, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, the respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 07.04.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
