Door No.2, Patta No.355, Ward-6, following four boundaries in South Srinivasan House, in North East-west pathway, in East Mohan House, in West Ramasamy House within this measurement of 2048 square feet house in the light of the petitioner's representation dated 05.06.2020, within a stipulated period.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking for a direction to direct the respondents herein to rectify the wrong entries and issue joint Patta to the petitioner pertaining to the property situated at Trichy District, Musiri Taluk, Thathayangarpet, Thathayangarpet Registration Office, Thathayangarpet Village, South Vaniyar Street, Old Door No.1, New Door No.2, Patta No.355, Ward-6, following four boundaries in South Srinivasan House, in North East-west pathway, in East Mohan House, in West Ramasamy House within this measurement of 2048 square feet house in the light of the petitioner's representation dated 05.06.2020.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner made an application to rectify the wrong entry in the UDR patta, for which, he has made a representation dated 05.06.2020 and the same is pending. Till now no order has been passed, hence the petitioner has filed this present writ petition. 3.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 would submit that the petitioner made a representation dated 05.06.2020 before the fourth respondent/Tahsildar for rectifying the mistake committed in the UDR patta. According to the learned Special Government Pleader, the petitioner has to file an application before the District Revenue Officer for the aforesaid relief.

If the petitioner files a fresh application for the aforesaid relief, the same would be considered by the second respondent/District Revenue Officer. 4.In reply, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that liberty may be given to the petitioner to file a fresh application before the District Revenue Officer. 4.In the light of the aforesaid submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court directs the petitioner to file a fresh application before the second respondent. If any such application is filed by the petitioner, the second respondent/ District Revenue Officer is directed to consider the same and pass appropriate order on merits and in accordance with law.

5.This Writ Petition is disposed of, with the above directions. No costs.
