ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed praying for a Writ of Certiorari to call for the records pertaining to the impugned notice in document No.901/2014 dated 20.01.2015 issued by the second respondent and quash the same.
2. Mr.TR.Janardhanam, learned Government Advocate accepts notice for the respondents.
3. A perusal of the impugned order would reveal the fact that it is nothing but a notice indicating the deficit payment of stamp duty to be paid by the petitioner for registration of the documents in question. According to the petitioner, he has paid the necessary stamp duty, as required under the Act. If it is so, the said fact can be placed before the second respondent with supporting documents. Therefore, the petitioner is directed to give a reply to the notice dated 20.01.2015 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such reply, the second respondent is directed pass order within a period of four weeks, thereafter.
