Respondents Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 4 to conduct peace committee meeting on or before 01.06.2022 based on the petitioner's representation, dated 21.05.2022.

ORDER

Mr.S.R.A.Ramachandran, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 5, on instructions would submit that, already a peace committee meeting was conducted on 20.05.2022, where the 'A' group alone participated and 'B' group were not participated. Therefore enabling both the group to reach an amicable settlement, the peace committee meeting once again scheduled to be held on 01.06.2022. On that date, there is a scope that there will be an amicable settlement followed by the Kumbabisekam which will be performed on 10.06.2022, where both the group will be asked to participate for which necessary police protection would be given and in a peaceful manner these ceremonies would be conducted under the supervision of the Revenue Department. The said submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader is hereby taken on record.

2. In view of the aforestated position, there is no need to pass any further order in this writ petition. Accordingly, recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this writ petition stands disposed of. No Costs.
