O R D E R

This petition is filed seeking Police protection on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 19.06.2021.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, enquiry was undertaken in CSR No.177 of 2021. Similarly, the fourth respondent has also lodged a complaint that was also enquired by assigning CSR No.175 of 2021. During the enquiry in both the cases, the parties agreed to settle the dispute amicably and the fourth respondent and others gave an undertaking that they will not give any trouble to the petitioner. They also gave an undertaking to settle the dispute at the village level by engaging elders. On that basis, both the enquires are closed.

Since it is a dispute between the brothers and sister and the parties also gave an undertaking to settle the dispute at the village level by engaging elders, the question of police protection does not arise in the nature of this case. Therefore, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
