ORDER

The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents herein to take action against the villagers, who ex-communicated the petitioner's family from the village and also directing all the respondents to make necessary arrangements in order to participate in the temple festivals on 31.05.2022 and as well as other village functions.

2. The petitioner complaints that he has been ex-communicated by the action of the village people of the village called Thalayur group, Pariyan Villge of Devakottai Taluk, Sivagangai District, where a temple festival is going to be conducted on 31.05.2022.

3. When this case is taken up for hearing, Mr.M.Senthil Iyyanar, learned Government Advocate appearing for the official respondents has submitted that in order to redress the grievance of the petitioner whether he has been really ex-communicated by not collecting the village gist for the purpose of the temple festival or not, the Thasildar concerned has proposed to conduct a peace committee meeting for which a notice has been given on 26.05.2022 to have a peace committee meeting at 11.00 a.m on 28.05.2022, therefore, in that meeting, the Thasildar would take necessary action against those who had taken any action against the petitioner towards the ex-communication and the issue would be amicably settled among them, by the efforts to be taken by the Thasildar concerned.

4.Recording the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the official respondents as there would be peace committee meeting by tomorrow where the issue raised by the petitioner would be addressed and settled, no further order is required to be passed in this writ petition. Hence, recording the same, this writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
