Respondents in both WPs Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent to give electricity service for the houses (D.No.171/B1 in respect of the W.P.(MD).No.6026 of 2015) of the petitioners situated in S.F.No.206/2 of Mathur Village, Kulathur Taluk, Pudukkotai District. For both Wps:- For petitioners : Mr.G.M.Xavier For R.1&3 : Mrs.S.Bharathi Government Advocate For R.2 : Mr.Srimathy COMMON ORDER These Writ Petitions have been filed praying for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent herein to give electricity connection for the houses of the petitioners.

2. Since the issues involved in both the Writ Petitions are one and the same, they are taken up together and disposed of by a common order.

3. Mrs.S.Bharathi, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents 1 and 3 and Mrs.Srimathi, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the second respondent.

4. By consent, these writ petitions are taken up for final disposal.

5. When the matters are taken-up for hearing, both the parties mutually agreed upon to pass order on the basis of the earlier order of this Court dated 15.04.2013 in W.P.(MD).No.3769 of 2013, wherein, in paragraph No.6, it is held as follows:- "6.The petitioners are directed to approach the Tahsildar, Kulathur to execute an undertaking affidavit to the effect that they will vacate the property in the event of Government requires the lands, for the purpose of obtaining 'No Objection Certificate' should be given by the Tahsildar, Kulathur within two weeks from the date of such undertaking. Similarly, in the event of producing 'No Objection Certificate' by the petitioners before the second respondent, the application for electricity connection should be considered and dispose of within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt application."

6. Following the said order dated 15.04.2013 in W.P.(MD).No.3769 of 2013, these Writ Petitions are also disposed of. No costs. Sd/- Assistant Registrar (Per Admn) /True copy/ Sub Assistant Registrar To 1.The District Collector, Pudukkotai District, Pudukkotai.
