This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to provide permission to the petitioner to provide Annathanam and allow petitioner's villagers to conduct the Valli Thirumanam Drama in their temple festival ceremony to be held on 03.08.2018 in their family Deity of Arulmigu Sri Muthaiyan, Sri Nondi Samayanan Swamy Kovil Temple is situated Oothikulam Village in S.No.188/2, Sivagangai Taluk, Sivagangai District, in accordance with law.

2.According to the petitioner, the petitioner has made a representation to the second respondent on 02.07.2018 for providing Annathanam and to allow petitioner's villagers to conduct the 'Valli Thirumanam Drama' in their temple festival ceremony to be held on 03.08.2018 in their family Deity of 'Arulmigu Sri Muthaiyan', Sri Nondi Samayanan Swamy Kovil Temple is situated Oothikulam Village in S.No.188/2, Sivagangai Taluk, Sivagangai District, but sofar, no order has been passed by the second respondent. Hence, the writ petitioner is before this Court.
3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the said request of the petitioner, dated 02.07.2018, would be considered by the second respondent on merits and in accordance with law, by taking note of the situation prevailing in the village.
4.In the light of the aforesaid submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on either side, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court is inclined to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.07.2018, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunities to the parties concerned. 5.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
