O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the third respondent to file a final report in Crime No.9 of 2020 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner lodged a complaint on 15.05.2018 with the 3rd respondent as against the accused persons, alleging that they conspired together and created fraudulent sale deeds and documents in respect of his property and FIR has been registered in Crime No.9 of 2020 for the offence under Sections 420, 465, 468, 471 r/w. 120(b) of IPC on 03.11.2020. It is further submitted that the accused moved the Anticipatory Bail application before the Sessions Court and the same was dismissed by the Sessions Court for more than two times and they 1/3

are absconding. In spite of that, the third respondent has not taken any steps to complete the investigation and file the final report.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that since the crime is relating to forgery of documents and sale deeds, the respondent Police have to collect material documents to complete the investigation and hence, seeks three months' time to complete the investigation and file the final report.

4. Considering the nature of crime, this Court is inclined to grant three months' time to complete the investigation and file the final report.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the third respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
