ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed praying for a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents order Na.Ka.C1/18735/07 dated 28.8.2007 cancelling the license no.199/92 with respect to the lands in S.Nos.519/1,519/2,519/3,550/4 and 566/1 in Anuppankulam Village in Sivakasi Taluk in Virudhunagar District in the relevant records.

2. Mr.S.Chandrasekar, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents.

3. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that out of three partners, only the petitioner is surviving. In view of difficulties during the course of the business, the licence granted in favour of the firm, namely, 'Mary Fire Works' has got already cancelled.

5. The only grievance of the petitioner in this Writ Petition is that even after the cancellation, in the revenue records of the abovesaid survey numbers, it is stated as "Mary Fire Works". Hence, he seeks cancellation of the said entry. In this regard, the petitioner has effected a representation dated 04.12.2013. The said representation is still pending consideration.

In view of the above, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, the first respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 04.12.2013, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, if any, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
