For R4 to R7 in both W.Ps., : Mr.K.Muthumalai COMMON ORDER These writ petitions have been filed for issuing a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to take action against the respondents 4 to 6 and their men upon petitioners' representation dated 13.04.2015 regarding ex-communication to permit the petitioners and their family members to participate in the celebrations and poojas in Sri Muthumalaiamman Temple situated at Keelakallamparai, Thenthiruperai Village, Tiruchendur Taluk, Tuticorin District.
2.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 on instructions would submit that the matter was compromised between the parties and the petitioners and their family members were allowed to participate in the temple festival that was conducted in 2015 and in the next year. 3.Having regard to the nature of prayer asked for in this writ petition, this Court is of the view that the petition has become infructuous.
4.Accordingly, these writ petitions are dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
