For Respondent : M/s.P.Kottai Chamy, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.13 Of 2021 on the file of the respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- When the matter was taken up for hearing on 09.07.2021, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the defacto complainant submitted that the matter may be referred to the Mediation for settling the issue. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the defacto complainant, the matter was referred to the Mediation Centre and the interim protection was also granted.

2. After getting interim order from this Court, the petitioners have not taken any steps to resolve the issues. The matter is kept pending for the past two months and it has not been listed before this Court sofar.

3. Considering the conduct of the petitioners in obtaining an order of interim protection by submitting that there is a possibility of settlement and thereafter not taking any steps to resolve the issue, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

4. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioners are at liberty to file a fresh application, if so advised.
