O R D E R

The writ petition is filed seeking for a Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner for the post of temporary conductor in pursuant to the interview conduced on 10.12.2014.

2. It is the grievance of the petitioner that even though he is having the required height, the 2nd respondent has rejected his application on the ground of shortage of height.

3. According to the petitioner, his height is 161 cms., whereas, the respondents have rejected by saying that he is having only 159.2 cms.

4. When the matter was taken up for hearing last occasion, this Court, in order to give a fair opportunity to the petitioner, directed the Registrar (Administration) of this Court to measure the height of the petitioner and give a report. Accordingly, a report is filed today wherein, it is stated that the petitioner's height was found as https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

159.4 cms. Such measurement was taken in the presence of the petitioner also officials of the respondents and their respective counsels. That being the factual aspect of the matter, this Court is not inclined to issue any Mandamus, as sought for in this Writ Petition, as the petitioner is not having the requisite height. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
