To modify the condition imposed on the Petitioners in Crl OP (MD) No.14163/2022 dated 16.03.2023 passed by this Honble Court so far as regards deposit of money in connection with Cr No.14/2021 on the file of the Respondent Police.
Order : These petitions coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petitions filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.P.KRISHNASAMY, Advocate for the petitioner in both the petitions and of MR.THANGA ARAVINDH.B, Government Advocate (Crl.side) on behalf of the Respondent in both the petitions, the Court made the following order:- https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
These miscellaneous petitions have been filed to extend the time limit to comply with the condition and to modify the condition imposed on the petitioners.
2.This Court granted anticipatory bail to the petitioners on 16.03.2023 with a condition that the petitioners should deposit a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- to the credit of Cr.No.14 of 2021. In fact, earlier, this Court granted interim anticipatory bail. Thereafter, the petitioners filed petitions for extension of time on two occasions. This Court also considered the petitions and extended the time limit. Now, after granting anticipatory bail, the petitioners come forward with these petitions to modify the condition and extension of time.
3.It is a case of job-racketing. According to the case of the prosecution, the petitioners received a sum of Rs.14,00,000/- in order to get a job. Thereafter, they failed to get any job and also refused to return the money.
3.In view of the above facts and circumstances, this Court is not inclined to modify the condition and also extend the time limit.
