PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the Inspector of Police, Alanganallur Police Station, Madurai District to expedite the investigation in Crime No.582 of 2017 dated 08.11.2017 and to file the final report within the time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, directing the respondent police to expedite the investigation in Crime No.582 of 2017 dated 08.11.2017 and to file the final report within the time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that final report will be filed, before the concerned Judicial Magistrate, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3.Considering the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court directs the respondent police to file a final report before the concerned Judicial Magistrate, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, with the above direction.
