PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to grant necessary permission and provide adequate police protection for conducting the village cultural program on 04.06.2022 at about 7.00 pm to 11.00 pm, as part of temple festival of Arulmighu Shri Balarudaiya Ayyanar Temple, at Vadakku Visavanur, Ilangudi Taluk, Sivagangai District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 25.05.2022.

This Writ Petition is filed for a Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to grant necessary permission and provide adequate police protection for conducting the village cultural program on 04.06.2022 at about 7.00 pm to 11.00 pm, as part of temple festival of Arulmighu Shri Balarudaiya Ayyanar Temple, at Vadakku Visavanur, Ilangudi Taluk, Sivagangai District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 25.05.2022.

2.Today (02.06.2022) when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.
