Order : These petitions coming on for orders upon perusing the petitions filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.A.JOHN VINCENT, Advocate for the petitioner in all the petitions and of Mrs.M.ANANTHADEVI, Government Advocate(criminal side) on behalf of the Respondent in all the petitions, the court made the following order:- These Criminal Miscellaneous Petitions have been filed to modify the conditions imposed in Crl.O.P(MD)Nos.11355 to 11363 of 2018, dated 05.07.2018.

2.The petitioner in these petitions was granted bail by this Court subject to certain conditions. He was directed to stay at Madurai till final reports are filed in the cases related to Anti Sterlite incidents. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has to go to Chennai and Delhi in connection

with certain professional engagements and that he also may have to attend the hearings before the Honourable Justice Aruna Jagadeesan Commission. Likewise, he has to go on professional engagements before any other Court, except Tuticorin District, if any. Therefore, the petitioner wants to modify the conditions earlier imposed.

3.This Court permits the petitioner to go to Delhi to assist his Senior Counsel. Likewise, the petitioner can very well go to Chennai to appear before the Honourable Justice Aruna Jagadeesan Commission. Similarly, the petitioner is also permitted to go to any other place in connection with professional engagements. But, it is made absolutely clear that the petitioner shall not step into Tuticorin District limit. This condition will not be ordered or modified. Even if the petitioner is summoned for any Court hearings in Tuticorin District, he may apply for condonation of his absence under Section 317 Cr.P.C through his counsel and the Courts concerned are directed to allow the said application. sd/- 17/07/2018 / TRUE COPY / Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
