The above petitions have been filed (i) to condone the delay of 83 days in filing the petition to set aside the abatement caused due to the death of the ninth respondent (ii) to set aside the abatement caused due to the death of the ninth respondent and (iii) to bring on record the proposed respondents 20 to 22 legal representatives of the deceased ninth respondent and rank them as respondents 20 to 22 in the above second appeal.

2.Despite receipt of notice, proposed respondents 20 to 22 have not turned up.

3.Heard the learned counsel counsel for the petitioners as well as the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 8, 10 to 13 and also perused the records.

4.Records perused. Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of these petitions, these petitions are ordered and the Registry is directed to carry out the necessary amendments in the papers and after amendment, send notice to the newly impleaded respondents returnable by 19.01.2026. Private notice is also permitted. 5.Post the matter on 19.01.2026.
