This Writ Petition is filed for a Mandamus, to direct the respondents to grant permission and necessary protection to conduct the "Adal Padal" programme on 05.06.2022 at 08.00 pm to 11.00 pm in connection with "Kida Vettu Vizha" of Marungoorani Arulmigu Sri Muthumariamman Thiru Kovil, Marungoorani, Sundampatti Post, Kantharvakottai Taluk, Pudukottai district.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.
