ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Section 399 I.P.C, in Crime No.56 of 2018, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) opposed the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner by citing the bad antecedents of the petitioner. However, taking note of the fact that the co-accused was granted bail by this Court, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvaiyaru, Thanjavur District and on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.

10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation.
