Criminal Revision Case has been filed under section 397 r/w 401 of Criminal Procedure Code,to call for the records to set aside the order dated 03.06.2023 in Crl.M.P.12960/2022 on the file of the Principal Sessions Judge,Tirunelveli and to allow the above Criminal Revision Petition.

ORDER:- This Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr. J.Kingsly Soloman, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr. B.Nambi Selvan, Government Advocate for the R1 & R2, this Court made the following order: "This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to direct the Bank/Registry to return the amount a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- out of the sum of Rs.2,50,000/- paid by the petitioner in the Environmental Committee accordingly by mistake in order to comply with the order of this Court in Crl.R.C.(MD)Nos.719 to 721 of 2023 dated 15.02.2024.

2.When the matter is taken for hearing today, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- has been deposited by mistake in order to comply with the above said order on the account of Environmental Committee, Registrar (Judicial), Madurai Bench of Madras High Court, Madurai). 2/4

3.The Registry is directed to refund the amount of Rs.1,00,000/-(Rupees One Lakh only) which was inadvertently deposited on the account of the Environmental Committee, Registrar (Judicial), Madurai Bench of Madras High Court, Madurai) to the petitioner."
