Prayer :- This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition filed under section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code praying this court to grant extend the time limit for executing sureties granted by this Honble Court in Crl.OP (MD)No.16045/2022 vide its order dt.9/9/2022. Prayer in CRL OP(MD). 16045/ 2022 :
To direct the Learned Principal District and Sessions Judge and (Special Court for SC/ST Act (POA) Act, Tirunelveli to accept the surrender of the petitioner and consider his bail application and grant bail on the same dt.of surrender itself. This petition has been filed to extend the time to produce the sureties in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.16045 of 2022 dated 09.09.2022 by this Court before the jurisdictional Court.
2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that since the petitioner had met with an accident and sustained major injuries, he could not comply with the order of the Court. He seeks further extension of time to surrender and execute sureties before the concerned Jurisdictional Court.
3.Considering the above submission, this petition is allowed and a further time of 15 days is granted to surrender before the jurisdictional Court, execute the sureties and to comply with the conditions imposed in the order dated 09.09.2022.
