ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the 1st and 2nd respondents to take immediate action on the respondents 3 to 5, upon the petitioner's representation / complaint dated 06.02.2026, within the time as stipulated by this Court.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had lodged a complaint against the private respondents before the second respondent police regarding the trespass committed by them into the petitioner's property, comprised in S.No. 103/1A, measuring an extent of 1 acre and 87 cents, situated at Keelamathur, Madurai.

The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent police submitted that the allegations are against the third respondent, who is claiming cultivating tenancy rights, and therefore, the second respondent police are not in a position to interfere in the matter, as the dispute involves such tenancy claims.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record. Since no adverse order is proposed to be passed against the private respondents, notice to them is dispensed with.

5. Considering the fact that suits in O.S. No. 96 of 2026 and O.S. No. 247 of 2023, both pending on the file of the District Munsif Court, Thirumangalam, are already in respect of the subject property, the second respondent police cannot meddle with this civil dispute. Hence, giving liberty to the petitioner to approach the second respondent police after disposal of the aforesaid civil suits, this writ petition stands disposed of. 06.04.2026 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No sm TO:-
