Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ of certiorarified mandamus calling for the records pertaining to the 1st respondent's proceedings in Na.Ka.No.7071/2015/Sat.Ni.E/ dated 29.06.2018, quash the same and consequently directing the 2nd respondent to provide electricity connection as per the sec.43 of the electricity supply act, 2003 based on the application submitted by the petitioner on 05.06.2018. O R D E R

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent submitted that electricity service connection, as required by the petitioner, would be granted subject to the pending arbitration proceedings before the second respondent.

2. In view of the above undertaking given by the learned counsel for the second respondent, no further orders are necessary to be passed in this writ petition. The second respondent is directed to grant electricity service connection to the petitioner's premises, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and such electricity service connection granted to the petitioner's premises is subject to the final outcome of the arbitration proceedings pending between the parties.

3. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
