ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents, more particularly the first respondent, to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.03.2022, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties.

3. According to the petitioner, she has submitted a representation dated 19.03.2022 to the first respondent seeking to rectify the errors crept in Patta, but the same has not been considered till date. The inaction of the respondents, particularly, the first respondent, has compelled the petitioner to approach this Court seeking a Writ of Mandamus.

4. The petitioner submits that the respondents are duty-bound to consider and dispose of the representation within a reasonable time, and the prolonged delay is arbitrary and unjustified. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

5. The learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 4 submits that the petitioner's representation will be considered on its merits and in accordance with law.

6. Recording the above submission, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.03.2022 on its merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The representation shall be considered and disposed of after conducting an enquiry. The second respondent is directed to provide reasonable opportunity during such enquiry to the petitioner and also to the other persons, who may be affected by such decision.
