ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.S.SUNDAR.J.,) This writ petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission for conducting Vadamadu Manjuvirattu Programme, on 03.06.2022, in connection with Arulmigu Sri Durgai Amman Kovil Festival at Mettuneerethan, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai District, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 23.05.2022. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD).No.10700 of 2022 2.The petitioner, in his representation, wanted permission to be granted to conduct Vadamadu Manjuvirattu Programme, on 03.06.2022, in connection with Arulmigu Sri Durgai Amman Kovil Festival at Mettuneerethan, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai District. 3.The representation of the petitioner to conduct programme on 03.06.2022, has not been considered so far. Hence, the relief sought for in the writ petition has become infructuous. However, liberty is given to the petitioner to submit a fresh representation before the first respondent, within a period of two days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If such representation is submitted by the petitioner, the first respondent viz., the District Collector, Madurai, shall consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law and also communicate the out-come of the order to the petitioner, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of the representation submitted by the petitioner.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of as infructuous. No costs.
