ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent herein to award full 4 marks to the petitioner for her answer to question Nos.46, 61, 77 and 148 of "B" Series Question Booklet in pursuance of the Examination conducted by the Respondent for the post of lecturers (senior scale) for government law colleges 2013-2014 vide advertisement No.4 of 2014 dated 22.07.2014 published in Daily Thanthi Newspaper dated 22.07.2014 and consequently direct the respondent to appoint the petitioner in the post of lecturer (Senior Scale) in the subject of Property Law in accordance with law. 2.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was appointed as Lecturer on merit basis. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. 3.

In view of the submission of the learned counsel for the 2/4

petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
