PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to effect survey on the petitioner's land and demarcate the same and to fix the boundary stones in four corners in survey No.1/7 admeasuring 33 cents at Kombaipatti Village, Nilakkottai Taluk, Dindigul District. ORDER

The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondent to survey and demarcate the land situated at survey No.1/7 admeasuring 33 cents at Kombaipatti Village, Nilakkottai Taluk, Dindigul District and fix the boundary stones.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that even though such request was made to the respondent on 14.07.2014 by paying necessary fees, the respondent has not considered the request so far. Therefore, without expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, I only direct the respondent to consider the request of the petitioner and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law. Such exercise shall be done by the respondent within a period of eights weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
