C.M.P.(MD).Nos. 4410 and 4411 of 2026 in C.M.A(MD)No. 604 of 2018 K. MURALI SHANKAR, J., These petitions have been filed to declare the second respondent as major and discharge the guardianship of his maternal grandfather Sikkaiappan.

2. Heard both sides and also perused the affidavit filed in support of these petitions.

3. Considering the fact that the minor respondent, viz., Saran Mukil, had attained majority, these petitions are allowed and the second respondent is declared as major and the Sikkaiappan is discharged from the guardianship.

4. Registry is directed to carry out necessary amendment in the appeal and list the matter on 21.04.2026.
