O R D E R

This petition has been filed by the petitioner / Accused No.6 to call for the records pertaining to C.C.No.327 of 2024 on the file of the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate Court, Thiruppuvanam, Sivagangai District for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 452, 294(b), 323, 324, 427 & 506(II) of IPC, in Crime No.25 of 2011 and quash the same.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsels on both sides represented that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties and to that effect, they have entered into a compromise and the same was filed before this Court.

3. One of the victim, namely, Asal Raja appears through Video Conferencing and his identity is also verified. Already the petitioner and the defacto complainant were present before the Court as in-person on 17.04.2025 and filed the compromise memo signed by the parties and their respective counsel. This Court enquired about the terms of compromise. The defacto-complainant represented that they entered into a compromise and he has no objection to quash the pending proceedings in Page No. 2 of 5

C.C.No.327 of 2024. Today the learned counsel for the petitioner has filed the affidavit of an another victim, namely, Rakkammal.

4. This Court has perused the terms of the compromise memo.

5. Considering the nature of the offences and the parties also entered into a compromise, it is appropriate to allow this petition.

6. Recording the said compromise memo, this criminal original petition is allowed and C.C.No.327 of 2024 on the file of the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate Court, Thiruppuvanam, Sivagangai District is quashed.
