This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the respondents to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner pursuant to the representation dated 08.05.2020 to the 2nd respondent and a representation dated 18.06.2020 to the 1st respondent.

2. Today when the petition is came up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, would submit that upon receipt of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL OP(MD)No.9315 of 2020 representation dated 08.05.2020 and 18.06.2020, the 2nd respondent herein initiated an enquiry in CSR No.346 of 2020 and the same is pending on his file. He would further submit that during the time of enquiry, if protection is required, necessary action will be taken.

3. Recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
