ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the second respondent herein to file a final report in Crime No.64 of 2017 within a stipulated time limit.

2.Heard Mr.C.K.M.Appaji, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.K.Ramakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who takes notice for the respondents.

3. The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the case in Crime No.64 of 2017, under Sections 147, 362, 294 (b), 323 & 506(i) IPC, was filed as early as on 23.03.2017, before the second respondent, so far, final report was not filed before the concerned Magistrate and therefore, prays for appropriate directions.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that enquiry is pending and he seeks two months time to submit the final report before the concerned Magistrate.

5. In view of the submissions made by the learned Counsel on either side, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the second respondent to submit the final report pertaining to the case in Crime No.64 of 2017, before the concerned Judicial Magistrate, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
