Alleging that the order of this Court in W.P(MD)No.18731 of 2019, dated 29.08.2019, has not been complied with, the petitioner has come up before this Court with this Contempt Petition. 2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.D.Gandhiraj, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that as per the order of this Court dated 29.08.2019, made in W.P(MD)No. 18731 of 2019, an enquiry was conducted and based on the said enquiry, the name of one Sangaiah Thevar has been removed from joint Patta No.2724. Regarding the removal of the name of Shanmugaiah Thevar is concerned, the petitioner had purchased the property only from one of the legal heirs of the said Shanmugaiah Thevar and hence, his name could not be removed. 3.Recording the same, the Contempt Petition is closed. 18.10.2022 Index : Yes / No smn2 2/4
