PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 herein to take appropriate action as against the 4th respondent and to declare the null and void of the document bearing No.33/2020, dated 02.01.2020, on the file of the 4th respondent, by consider the petitioner's representation, dated 25.01.2025, which is still pending before the respondents. For Petitioner :

Mr.P.Venkatesan For Respondents 1 to 4 : Mr.R.Suresh Kumar, Addl. Govt. Pleader.

ORDER

Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of the Court to withdraw this Writ Petition, with liberty to approach the jurisdictional civil court, seeking for declaration that the document executed by respondents 4 to 8 is null and void.

2. The Registration Act,1908, and the Rules made thereunder do not empower the registering authority to cancel the document once the process of registration is over. The remedy is only before the civil court.

Hence, liberty, sought for by the petitioner to approach the jurisdictional civil court, is granted and this Writ Petition is dismissed, as withdrawn. No costs. 17.04.2025 NCC :
