ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the respondent herein to file a final report in Crime No.48 of 2017 within a stipulated time limit.

2.Heard Mr.S.Baskar Mathuram, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.K.Ramakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who takes notice for the respondents.

3. The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the case in Crime No.48 of 2017, under Section 304 IPC, was filed as early as on 17.06.2017, before the respondent, so far, final report was not filed before the concerned Magistrate and therefore, prays for appropriate directions.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that enquiry is pending and he seeks four months time to submit the final report before the concerned Magistrate.

In view of the submissions made by the learned Counsel on either side, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondent to submit the final report pertaining to the case in Crime No.48 of 2017, before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Karaikudi, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
