ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed against the order dated 16.09.2016, passed in I.A.No.72 of 2016 in I.D.O.P.No.74 of 2009, by the learned I Additional District Judge, Tirunelveli, to re-open the case and to permit the respondent to further crossexamine P.W.1 and P.W.2.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that already the respondent was permitted to cross-examine P.W.1 and P.W.2 and the evidence was closed and the case is posted for arguments and therefore, the Civil Revision Petition has become infructuous. He further submitted that the said I.D.O.P. is pending from the year 2009 and a direction may be issued to the learned I Additional District Judge, Tirunelveli, to dispose the I.D.O.P. as early as possible.

3. Recording the abovesaid submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Civil Revision Petition is dismissed.

No costs.

Consequently, the connected civil miscellaneous petition is closed. However, the learned I Additional District Judge, Tirunelveli, is directed to dispose of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

I.D.O.P.No.74 of 2009, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, in any event, not later than 31st March 2017.
