(CRIME NO.559 OF 2020) ... RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to modify the condition in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.6462 of 2021, dated 06/05/2021.

Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.SELVAKUMAR.V., Advocate for the petitioners and of Mr.RMS.SETHURAMAN, Counsel for State Government (Crl.side) on behalf of the Respondent, the Court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioners in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.6462 of 2021 on 06.05.2021. 2.Earlier this Court by an order, dated 06.05.2021 granted anticipatory bail to the petitioners on condition that each of the petitioners shall deposit a sum of Rs.5,000/- to the credit of IOB, Secretariat Branch, Chennai-9 (Account No.11720 10000 00070, IFSC Code:IOBA0001172), within a period of two weeks. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are poor agriculture farmers and they are not in a position to deposit the said amount. Hence, he seeks modification of the said condition.

4.Taking into consideration of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the condition imposed by this court in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.6462 of 2021 on 06.05.2021 is modified to that effect that the petitioners shall deposit a sum of Rs.2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand Only) each to the credit of IOB, Secretariat Branch, Chennai-9 (Account No.11720 10000 00070, IFSC Code:IOBA0001172), within a period of two weeks. 5.Accordingly, this petition is allowed.
