This writ petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to take appropriate action against the respondents 6 to 9 for their misdeeds and misappropriation of money, under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act scheme, carried out in the seventh respondent Panchayat. 2.Mr.A.K.Baskarapandian, learned Special Government Pleader states that the Collector has considered the issue at length and forwarded the same to the Block Development Officer. 3.In such view of the matter, we leave the District Collector to pursue the matter in accordance with law. 4.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
