Heard both sides.

2. The petitioner had put up a construction in the petition mentioned survey number. She wants electricity connection to be provided. The EB authorities are willing to grant such connection by drawing lines from the existing pole. The petitioner is of the view that it may endanger her safety. Therefore, the petitioner has suggested providing service connection through an alternative route. The petitioner is also willing to bear cost of the same. If the alternative route suggested by the petitioner is a public path way and there is no patta land intervening, the petitioner's request shall be accepted by the respondents and the electricity service connection shall be provided and whatever the extra cost, the Electricity Board may have to bear will have to fall on the 2/4

3 W.P.(MD)NO.10488 OF 2024 shoulders of the petitioner herein. This exercise will be completed by the respondents within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition stands allowed accordingly. No costs.
