ORDER

This writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned order of the first respondent dated 28.01.2013, suspending the fire arm licence issued in favour of the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 2.From a perusal of the impugned order, it could be seen that the petitioner's gun licence expired as early as on 31.12.2011

and as on today, no licence stands in the name of the petitioner. Hence, no further adjudication is required in this writ petition and the same deserves to be dismissed.

3.At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has already filed an application before the first respondent seeking renewal of licence and the same may be directed to be considered by the first respondent.

4.In view of the said submission, the first respondent is directed to consider the application, if any filed by the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law. 5.The writ petition is dismissed accordingly. No costs. Consequently, MP(MD)No.1 of 2014 is closed.
