O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 29.03.2025 and consequently, directing the respondents to grant the subsidy amount as per G.O.(Ms).No.49, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (D2) Department, dated 29.10.2012, within the time frame stipulated by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The petitioner applied for a loan to establish a dental clinic. Subsequently, the petitioner was directed to refund the first 2/5
installment subsidy under the NEEDS scheme for the year 2022 - 2023. Although the petitioner submitted a reply for reconsideration, the same was not considered and consequently, the second respondent passed an order directing the petitioner to repay the said amount along with interest. As against the said order, the petitioner filed an appeal. The appeal is not yet disposed of. Hence, the petition is before this Court.
4. Considering the limited nature of the prayer made, this writ petition is disposed of, directing the first respondent to consider the appeal and pass appropriate orders within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
