Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a WRIT OF CERTIORARIFIED MANDAMUS, calling for the records pertaining to the impugned order in Pa.Nill/1272/2011, dated 23-02-2011 on the file of the Respondent No.3 and quash the same as illegal and consequently to direct the Respondent No.2 and 3 to consider the Petitioner for Promotion to the post of Area Manager within the time stipulated by this Court. ORDER:- This Writ Miscellaneous Petition coming up for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.D.Muruganandam, Additional Government Pleader, for the Petitioners this Court made the following order: This petition has been filed to grant extension of time for further period of 12 months to implement the order passed in W.P (MD).No.4542 of 2012, dated 10.11.2016.

2.Heard the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the petitioners.

3.Perusal of record shows that the Writ petition has been ordered as early as on 10.11.2016 granting three months time to the first and second respondents therein to complete the process of framing Special Rules for the TANCOF employees absorbed in the Government service and provide them promotional opportunities. But the learned Additional Government Pleader has filed the extension of time petition on 09.04.2019 and he has not explained the reason why the extension of time petition has not been filed before the expiry of three months i.e prior to the order of this Court, dated 10.11.2016.

4.In view of the above reason, this Court is not inclined to grant further extension of time. Accordingly, this miscellaneous petition is dismissed. No costs.
