To prefer this above memorandum of grounds of Second appeal as against the Judgment and Decree made in A.S.No.11 of 2017 on the file of the Additional Sessions and District Judge, Virudhunagar dated 26.02.2021, confirming the Judgment and Decree made in O.S.No.41 of 2005 on the file of Subordinate Judge, Virudhunagar dated 22.04.2016.

ORDER : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.S.M.MOHAN GANDHI, Advocate for the petitioner, the court made the following order:- 1/3

This petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 696 days in filing the Appeal in S.A(MD)No.SR 32740 of 2024.

2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a senior citizen and he was suffering from some ailments during the COVID-19 period. Therefore, the petitioner has failed to follow up the case. 3.In view of the said submission, this petition is ordered with cost of Rs.3,000/- to be paid to the respondent.
