ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Civil Revision Petition to direct the learned District Munsif, Madurai Taluk, Madurai District to dispose of the above suit in O.S.No.75 of 2011 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.The petitioner is the defendant in the suit. The respondent/plaintiff filed a suit in O.S.No.75 of 2011 before the file of the District Munsif, Madurai for injunction restraining the petitioner and his agent from interfering with his peaceful possession and enjoyment of the suit schedule property. 3.The petitioner filed written statement and also filed counter claim. The respondent filed a reply statement to the counter claim on 29.08.2016. The said suit was posted for framing issues and further adjudication. Subsequently, the issues were not framed and at the request of the respondent, the suit is posted for filing reply statement and the respondent is prolonging the matter. In the circumstances, the petitioner has come out with the present Civil Revision Petition.

4.I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and also perused the entire materials on record.

5.Having been taken into consideration of the material facts and circumstances, this Court is of the view that in the interest of justice, it may be expedient to issue a direction to the District Munsif, Madurai Taluk.

6.Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is allowed and the learned District Munsif, Madurai Taluk, Madurai District is directed to dispose of O.S.No.75 of 2011 as expeditiously as possible, in any event, not later than, 30th April, 2017. No costs.
