Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pay Rs.50,00,000/- lakhs and provide a Government job to his wife namely S.Selvakumari as compensation for the death of his son namely S.Ajaykumar due to the negligence and illegal act of the sixth respondent based on the petitioner's representation dated 12.01.2023 within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to pay a sum of Rs.50,00,000/- and provide a Government job to his wife namely S.Selvakumari as compensation for the death of his son namely S.Ajaykumar due to the negligence and illegal act of the sixth respondent based on the petitioner's representation dated 12.01.2023 within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner's son was working as a coolie. The grievance of the petitioner is that, due to the negligence on the part of the sixth respondent, the petitioner's son, while 2/5
cleaning the school campus, fell down and sustained grievous head injuries, as a result of which he succumbed to the injuries. Hence, the petitioner made a representation dated 12.01.2023 to the respondents seeking compensation of a sum of Rs.50,00,000/- and compassionate appointment to his wife, namely S. Selvakumari, as compensation for the death of his son, S. Ajaykumar, caused due to the negligence and illegal act of the sixth respondent. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has approached this Court.
3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 12.01.2023 would be considered in accordance with law.

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.01.2023 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
